DescriptionThis position will support Encinitas Infusion Pharmacy with occasional coverage of Vista and Via Tazon Infusion centers. Under general supervision, will perform a full range of duties and general tasks including daily preparation of IVs, including chemotherapy and supportive medications, assist with medication inventory management and purchasing, medication distribution via Pyxis Med Station, and other supportive operational duties in a scheduled area.
Minimum Qualifications- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant Pharmacy experience.
- Experience in project management/system responsibility (e.g. Pyxis, narcotic control, QI, or pharmacy buyer/biller/analyst); OR is a Pharmacy School graduate; OR expanded responsibilities over several areas OR possess a Pharmacy Intern License.
- Strong background in sterile compounding.
- Experience with inventory management in Epic.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
Annual Full Pay Range: $67,756 - $84,209 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $32.45 - $40.33

The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
