Emergency Medical Technician Event Coverage

• You have 3+ years EMT experience in athletic or event based medical care
• You have worked autonomously as an EMT in athletic event coverage
• You're looking for flexibility in hours & commitment ~4-15 hrs/wk, M-F options - you set the schedule, minimal to no weekend need.
• You have respect and excitement for emergency sports medicine and desire a strong community
• You value the prioritization of access to patient-centered healthcare

As a new-age staffing company, we prioritize and place HCPs in work opportunities where their healthcare delivery is valued.

Provide autonomous sideline coverage for a variety of high school sporting events within EMT scope of practice, including but not limited to:

• Emergency response to cardiac situations
• Evaluation and intervention of concussions, in accordance with state licensure laws
• Monitoring and intervention of heat related illness
• Evaluation & treatment of skin abrasions, wounds, and other topical conditions
• Evaluation and treatment of soft tissue musculoskeletal injuries
• Document patient information accurately and timely

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and athletic team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and patient care activities
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient mobility
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
