Occupational Therapist – Arroyo Vista – San Diego, CA
Join Flagship Therapy for a PRN occupational therapist position at the Arroyo Vista facility in San Diego, CA.
Base pay range$47.00/hr - $55.00/hr

- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop a plan of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, etc.
- Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services or refer as appropriate.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers and treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
