Position Summary
The Life Spa-Barber provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guest’s overall sense of well‑being and enhances the club experience. Some services may include cutting, styling, and grooming facial hair, all performed to exceed the guest’s expectations. This position does not perform chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Provides individualized services that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
- Educates clients on Life Spa and Salon products, services, and treatments to assist them in maintaining their style.
- Serves as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens while staying current on style and technique.
- Promotes all Life Spa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
- Maintains work stations to salon standards.
Required Qualifications Education
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Barber license in the state where work is performed.
- Experience as a barber in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of Salon Biz software.
