ResponsibilitiesSheriff’s Property and Evidence Specialists II are assigned to the Sheriff’s Property and Evidence Unit. This position is responsible for specialized duties related to collection, preservation, secure storage, lawful disposal, and custody chain maintenance of property and physical evidence acquired by the Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications- One (1) year of experience as a Sheriff’s Property and Evidence Specialist I with the County of San Diego
- OR Eighteen (18) months of experience receiving, storing, releasing, and disposing of property and evidence in a law enforcement agency
Note:
A valid California Class C driver's license, which must be maintained throughout employment in this class, is required at time of appointment, or the ability to arrange necessary and timely transportation for field travel. Employees may be required to use their own vehicle.
