Provide critical support by leveraging available resources to independently review, draft, and revise contracting and acquisition documentation. Offer analytical support in researching Federal, Department of War (DoW), and Navy pre‑award and post‑award contracting procedures and policies. Use interpersonal skills and sound business judgment to handle multiple activities with short turnaround time in a dynamic environment.
Assist a client with all aspects of the contracting lifecycle, including pre‑award acquisition planning, source selection support, and post‑award contract administration for complex Naval and DoW software and hardware‑intensive systems. Advice and guidance on all matters of Federal, DoW, and Navy pre‑ and post‑award contracting procedures and policies. Develop and review procurement request (PR) packages, including Acquisition Plans (APs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Source Selection Plans (SSPs), Justification and Approvals (J&A), Determination and Finding (D&F), and the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), ensuring adequacy, consistency, and compliance with administrative, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
This position is located in San Diego, CA.
Requirements7+ years of experience with cradle‑to‑grave contract management, including procurement planning, pre‑award, price and cost analyses, post‑award, and closeout in a government or government‑support role.
Experience providing contractual advice and actionable recommendations to a government client, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex acquisition rules and regulations.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoW 5000 series regulations and laws, executive orders, statutes, policies, and principles of acquisition planning.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with the Navy and DoW.
Experience with Navy contracting procedures and regulations.
Experience preparing briefings and reports for government clients.
Ability to use computers to effectively communicate complex procurement regulations, processes, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master’s degree preferred; J.D. degree a plus.
DAWIA Level III in Contracts or Program Management, FAC‑C Professional in Contracts or Program Management, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

CompensationSalary is determined by various factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work Model- Remote or hybrid: work from a Booz Allen or client site facility periodically.
