Risk Manager/Analyst
Mission Federal Credit Union is looking for a Card Services Assistant Manager to help lead a high-performing team that supports our members across debit, credit, and ATM products. Responsibilities- Support daily department operations—ensuring coverage, workflow, and timely task completion.
- Serve as first-level and escalated support for complex member inquiries across debit, credit, and ATM products.
- Maintain staffing continuity by reviewing attendance, approving timecards, and managing backup assignments.
- Oversee daily settlement and balancing for ATM, debit, and credit card transactions, including GL accuracy and card inventory certifications.
- Support ATM operations and dispute resolution, including Regulation E claims and compliance with Mastercard, STAR, and CO‑OP requirements.
- Develop and maintain procedures, job aids, and documentation, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Represent Card Services in cross-functional projects, offering operational insights and supporting implementation work.
- Analyze operational metrics and support quarterly certifications for STAR, Maestro, and other networks.
- Coach and mentor team members, strengthening problem‑solving skills, service quality, and procedural adherence.
- Support the Master Card Purchasing Card program, including training and client support.
- Ensure compliance with Mission Fed, security, and federal regulations, including BSA requirements.
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in financial institution or card operations; at least 2 years specifically in card services.
- Leadership experience providing mentoring, training, or guidance to team members is highly preferred.
- Strong project management, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills—professional, clear, and member-focused.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Symitar, First Data, STAR Station, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant systems.

Base Pay/Salary: $89,000 - $112,000 per year*
* Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
