Analyst Financial Systems III; ANFS

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a full-time qualified candidate for Analyst, Financial Systems III (ANFS3) - Accounting Support (Senior) at our NAVWAR HQ (Old Town Complex) location.

• Lead complex analysis and reconciliations across accounting support functions (e.g., funds control, accounts payable, general ledger, unmatched transactions).
• Extract and analyze financial data from government systems; validate results and document findings clearly.
• Provide recommendations to resolve discrepancies and improve process efficiency; support audit-related data calls.
• Support budget execution validation and related reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheets, metrics, and status dashboards for leadership decision‑making.
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate workload with team leads to meet suspense dates.
• Support continuous improvement efforts, including identifying opportunities to use automation where appropriate.

• Bachelor's degree (any field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial systems analysis, accounting support, reconciliation, or audit support.
• Demonstrated ability to independently research issues, analyze large data sets, and produce clear recommendations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation; ability to build repeatable analysis tools).
• Strong professional communication skills and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Computer Systems

Experience:

Experience with ERP/reporting tools and financial data analytics preferred;
DoD/Navy financial system experience a plus.

Microsoft Suite Proficiency (especially Excel)
