Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

Compensation: $140K - $180K + 10% target bonus

Location: Fully onsite with a 9/80 schedule

A growing organization is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions. This role oversees the month-end close process, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP. The Controller partners closely with senior leadership to support financial strategy, performance analysis, and operational decision-making.

• Lead the accounting team and manage all day-to-day accounting operations
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes
• Ensure accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support leadership with financial modeling, pricing analysis, and business planning
• Provide financial insights related to investments, contracts, and operational decisions
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and training
• Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment preferred
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience a plus
• Ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and influence senior leadership
• CPA preferred but not required
