Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, you will apply knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues. • Lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, listening to and sharing information with colleagues as an essential part of the role.
• Work on a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base.
• Provide up-to-the-minute tax advice clients can rely on.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients' tax activities.
• Research clients’ business operations and tailor advice to their specific needs.
• Build client relationships with knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industries.
• Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
• Supervise a team of professionals, ensuring skill development and opportunities for growth.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
• Extensive knowledge in real estate tax, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
• Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
• Business development within the market.
• Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects and strong influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed; comfortable in a balanced hybrid environment.
• CPA qualification or membership in a state bar.

• The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
