Salary: $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr, with annual discretionary bonuses up to 10% cash and restricted stock units.

About This Job

We are looking for a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to support our Commercial Real Estate Specialty Lending Group. You will work primarily with relationship managers to manage existing construction and bridge loans, assist in managing pipeline for new loan opportunities, and compile and organize files necessary for underwriting and closing.

Responsibilities

• Understand critical business milestones for borrowers.
• Monitor portfolio to track covenants and deadlines.
• Prepare quarterly loan reviews for loans within the portfolio.
• Read and comprehend loan documents.
• Prepare internal memorandums for approval concerning monitored loans.
• Analyze multiple commercial real estate collateral types.
• Support positions with conviction by presenting detailed analysis and metrics.
• Establish strong relationships with senior management and counter parties.
• Make process-based decisions with a strong emphasis on data and key industry metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred major/specialization in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics.
• 1+ years of experience in analyzing, underwriting, and/or managing asset-based and commercial real estate.
• 1+ years of experience with a banking institution or finance company.
• Commercial real estate bridge and construction lending experience preferred.
• Ability to write coherent and well‑thought‑out summaries demonstrating understanding of the loan opportunity.
• Superior analytical and modeling experience capable of generating fully integrated cash‑flow models.
• Strong ability to spread financial statements and provide clear and concise written financial analysis supporting your views of the borrower’s financial condition.
• High energy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work in a demanding environment.
• Dedicated work ethic and self‑starter.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
