About the role:

The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a critical part of the Finance and Accounting team. The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, FP&A works closely with the Senior Leadership Team, preparing annual budgets and forecasts, provides monthly reporting of financial performance against these forecasts and detailed analysis of sales data. Also prepares quarterly materials for Board of Directors meetings as well as other ad hoc analysis for the organization.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and analysis.
  • Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc.
  • Monitors and provides monthly revenue and/or expense analysis on complex projects/problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of tangible and intangible variables.
  • Leads the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts, internal and external financial reports, cash flow forecasting and analysis of forecasts to actuals.
  • Provides timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and business context to support operating and strategic decision-making.
  • Serves as the FP&A business partner to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Prepares Board of Directors materials in partnership with the CFO.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What Makes You Successful (KSA’s)

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and preparing presentations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) required, experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred and experience with Power BI a plus
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Very strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis.
