We are currently empowering our DC General Managers and supply chain leaders at Petco with data and diagnostics to better run their business. We have a role open for a financial analyst within Indirect Procurement. This role will play a critical part in providing financial support to our internal stakeholders, designing reporting to support better decision making, and supporting the budget and forecast processes.

• Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain costs: procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Present financial results and KPI's to DC general management teams.
• Submit journal entries to reclass capital and align expense reporting with forecast, submit monthly forecasts and weekly risk and opportunities (R&O).
• Monitor inventory valuation, cash flow impact, and cost‑to‑serve metrics.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning through financial insights.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize payment terms and working capital.
• Provide variance analysis on key KPI's as it relates to Supply Chain analysis.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist with annual budget planning.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3-5 years related experience, including experience with journal entry creation, forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with utilizing an ERP (Oracle preferred) as well as a financial reporting consolidation tool (such as Essbase/Smartview) preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, Micro Strategy, and/or other enterprise reporting systems, SQL ability preferred.
• Strong ability to translate analysis into insights and findings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, working through uncertainty under various time constraints.

• Strong business acumen with an understanding of how supply chain decisions affect financial performance.
• Experience presenting to leadership.
• Desire to learn about Petco's business and inquisitive mindset.
• Analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration (finance, operations, sales, suppliers).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state‑specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.

Salary Range: $66,000.00 - $99,000.00
