Company is a long-established, stable, B2B services organization. The business operates in a technically complex, operationally intensive environment across multiple geographies.

The company has scaled through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions and is now entering a phase that requires more robust financial infrastructure to support continued expansion.

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as the senior financial leader and a trusted partner to executive leadership. This role is designed for a hands-on, operator-minded CFO who can evolve the finance function as the organization increases in scale, complexity, and geographic footprint.

The CFO will balance strategic leadership with direct involvement across finance, accounting, systems, and performance management.

Primary Focus Areas

• Financial leadership aligned to growth, expansion, and operational scale

• Budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance visibility

• Scalable reporting, controls, and financial infrastructure

• Cross-functional partnership with operations and commercial leadership

• Support for acquisition activity and post-close integration

• Development of a strong, capable finance and accounting organization

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior CFO (or Head of Finance) experience required, ideally within a growing, privately held business

• Experience operating in multi-entity environments with increasing scale

• Demonstrated success supporting organizations at or approaching upper-middle-market size

• Background in businesses with operational intensity (services, technical, project-based, or asset-supported models)

• Experience with Percentage Completion Accounting

• Experience with ERP selection, implementation, or major system transformation

• Exposure to M&A activity, including integration and post-close execution

• Strong leadership capability with experience building and developing senior finance talent

• Comfortable working in a hands-on, onsite executive role

• Ability to partner closely with founders or owner-operators
