Compensation:
Pay rates vary by project scope, client budget, and experience level, typically ranging from $55-75/HR.
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Location: Engagements range from onsite in San Diego or 100% remote and open to any location in the US
Scope of Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze detailed accounting schedules, financial reports, and statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Shareholder’s Equity) to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Execute full-cycle general ledger management, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis to support timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and management teams to deliver data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making
- Produce and review financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support audits and external reporting, preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations for internal and external auditors
- Implement process improvements and recommend best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timeliness
- Adapt quickly to new client environments, systems, and industries, demonstrating a consultant mindset focused on adding value and solving challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business, finance, or related is required
- 5+ years of public accounting and/or corporate experience
- CPA is preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems and strong skillset in Excel
- Soft Skills:
resourceful, proactive, and strong communication skills
