We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst who loves digging into regulations, spotting risks before they happen, and partnering with teams across the organization to turn complex rules into practical solutions.
Here are some of the details about this exciting opportunity:
In this role, you’ll work closely with our VP of Regulatory Compliance Counsel to keep Mission Fed compliant, confident, and ahead of the curve—without touching BSA.
You will:

- Research and interpret federal and state regulations impacting deposits, lending, advertising, privacy, websites, and collections
- Track regulatory changes and help translate them into real‑world operational updates
- Review marketing materials, promotions, and web content to make sure they’re compliant and member‑friendly
- Draft, update, and improve compliance procedures (clear beats complicated)
- Be the go‑to compliance partner for teams across the credit union
- Support new products, services, and promotions from a compliance lens
- Assist with compliance reviews and assessments
- Prepare clearly written reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Jump into projects that help shape the future of our compliance program
Here is what we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- NAFCU and/or CUNA Compliance Certification
- At least 2 years of financial services compliance experience (bank or credit union)
- Strong writing and communication skills—you can explain regulations without making eyes glaze over
- Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Symitar Publications
- Great team and company culture!
- You can’t beat a role in sunny San Diego!
- 18 days of PTO in your first year plus 12 holidays a year!
- 6% 401(k) match
Base Pay/Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year*
* Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
