Director of Finance

Rapalogix Health is a science-backed skincare company redefining the physician-dispensed category through longevity-based innovation. Our platform is grounded in deep biological research on mTOR modulation and cellular aging, integrating R&D, clinical insight, and commercial execution to bring differentiated products to market.

As we move through active product launch and scale our commercial operations, we are building a finance organization capable of supporting both commercial complexity and R&D rigor. The Director of Finance will be a critical leader in establishing scalable financial infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making, and partnering cross-functionally to support Rapalogix’s next stage of growth.

The Director of Finance will serve as the day-to-day leader of the finance function, with broad ownership across accounting, financial planning and reporting, operational finance, and financial systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of Rapalogix’s financial operations while acting as a trusted partner to executive leadership.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy and judgment. The Director of Finance will independently manage core finance and accounting activities, develop financial insights to support decision-making, and proactively identify risks and opportunities as the company scales through product launch and commercialization.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating as the primary internal owner of finance execution, while collaborating closely with the CFO on strategy, governance, and longer-term planning.

• Lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, systems, and processes, including coordination and management of outsourced accounting partners.
• Own monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and expense reimbursement approvals, accounts receivable, cash application, and related controls.
• Oversee inventory and raw materials accounting, forecasting, purchase orders, and reconciliations during early commercial scale.
• Conduct GAAP and technical accounting research relevant to the business.
• Lead external financial audit preparation and serve as primary interface with external auditors.
• Oversee tax preparation, compliance, and reporting in partnership with external advisors, including implementation and ongoing management of tax systems.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Own the monthly financial reporting package, including variance analysis, KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level summaries.
• Prepare financial materials for executive leadership, the board, and external partners.
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for financial data, reporting, and analysis across the organization.

• Own annual budgeting, interim forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, including revenue, gross margin, operating expense, and cash flow models.
• Develop and maintain scenario models, sensitivity analyses, and decision-support tools to inform executive and board-level decisions.
• Lead financial analysis related to pricing, unit economics, product profitability, and commercialization initiatives.
• Independently identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership.

• Act as a finance business partner to leaders across commercial, R&D, operations, and G&A.
• Provide financial guidance on resource allocation, spend management, and ROI across both commercial initiatives and R&D programs.
• Lead unit economics analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and cost optimization efforts.
