Supervising Mortgage Loan Officer

Position Overview

As a Supervising Mortgage Loan Officer within PNC’s Mortgage organization, you will be based in San Diego, CA. You will lead a small, high‑performing Mortgage Loan Officer team, recommending loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients’ requirements, managing daily loan activities, cultivating a portfolio of customer relationships, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.

• Recommend loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients’ requirements.
• Manage daily loan activities of a small, high‑performing mortgage loan officer team.
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and seek prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients.
• Prepare loan solutions and refer other banking products and services, reviewing documentation to ensure compliance.
• Grow, retain and develop an effective sales force to cover the geography of the market, managing own and team pipeline for efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
• Collect and analyze customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.

• Education: No Degree required.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant professional experience in mortgage lending or related field.
• Preferred skills: Banking products, client prospecting, customer relationships, customer solutions, documentations, innovation, mortgages, sales.
• Competencies: Coaching others, customer experience management, effective communications, financial analysis, loan origination, matrix management, mortgage products, sales tasks and activities, selling.
• Licenses: Background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
• Certifications: None required.

Base Salary: $37,440.00 – $37,440.00

Salary may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
