About the RoleThe Closing Escrow Manager supervises the closing/escrow team, tracking and reporting progress of all open escrows, preparing sales reports and escrow flow charts, and reviewing individual lot escrow instructions.
Your Responsibilities- Hire, train, and direct workload of closing associate(s)
- Schedule & coordinate NHO and settlement date and times with Production & NHC’s
- Process Closing Instructions for submission to Lennar Title/Mortgage companies and outside title companies and lenders
- Manage settlement closing questions & issues via email, with quick response required
- Prepare Lennar Daily – Settlements & Projections
- Monthly Settlement Backlog Projections
- Update Mortgage Status with Eagle Home Mortgage and contact with outside lenders
- Update JDE & Excel report with mortgage status, NHO & COE dates, and times
- Update COE dates for current sales in JDE
- Review and sign Seller documents for settlements
- Maintain closing calendar
- Create reports in JDE & Excel for weekly distribution to multiple parties
- Send Settlement Notification Letters to Buyers & NHC’s
- Prepare Mortgage, Closing & Cancellation default letters
- Obtain HUD Approval
- Track Temporary U&O’s and Lender Escrows for refunds
- Ensure accuracy in execution of contracts and other closing documentation
- Assist with assigned projects as needed
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in mortgage and title processes
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Excel, JD Edwards
- Ability to perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines
- Good writing and organization skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty
- Team player who works well under pressure and interacts well with co-workers
Base compensation: $66,560.00 - $107,886 per year, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and business considerations.
- May be eligible for bonuses.
- May be eligible for commissions.
