Entry Level Bank Teller (North Park) Pay Range
Base pay: $19.00/hr - $21.25/hr
2026 Pay Scale: $19.00/hr - $21.25/hr
2025 Pay Scale: $19.00/hr - $20.75/hr

Position SummaryResponsible for transacting business efficiently and accurately on member accounts and promoting Credit Union products and services to existing and potential members while maintaining quality service standards set by the organization.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- Willingness to train and to learn how to identify members’ needs to effectively offer or refer credit union products and services.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Effective human relations and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Process routine member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, wires, cashier check purchases, loan and VISA advances, lobby drop and closing accounts.
- Balance cash drawer daily, process direct deposit forms, process daily mail, provide dual control to balance the cash vault.
- Identify and offer products and services to members to meet their financial needs and/or refer the member to an appropriate representative or partner. Participate in campaigns, contests, member outreach efforts, meetings and one‑on‑ones with management. Meet established performance goals as assigned.
- Accurately record and track all member interactions, referrals and sales, following policy and procedure and maintaining integrity in all actions.
- Answer basic member inquiries pertaining to their account.
- Conduct routine research on member accounts as necessary or requested.
- Assist members by accepting and/or completing applicable forms.
- Participate in AML/BSA compliance training as assigned. Adhere to credit union AML/BSA policy and procedures including CTR rules and form preparation, identify and refer suspicious activity to the Compliance Department, perform OFAC comparisons, and properly identify individuals in accordance with Branch Operations procedures.

- May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours, including off‑site events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The employee is required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms, occasionally walk, sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level is usually moderate.
- Monday: 8:15 am – 5:30 pm
- Tuesday & Friday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (rotating)
- Sunday: OFF
Full time – 40 hours per week.
