ECORP Consulting, Inc. seeks to hire several highly motivated, dynamic, client-centered professionals to fill multiple roles for CEQA/NEPA Environmental Planners/Project Managers. Each position can be based in any of our offices (Rocklin, Chico, Redlands, Irvine, or San Diego), and a hybrid work schedule is available. They will manage and prepare CEQA and NEPA documents, conduct and oversee impact analysis, report preparation, document review, business development, and client care.
As a valuable addition to our dedicated team, you’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team on diverse projects throughout California.
- Collaborate with ECORP’s multidisciplinary staff of environmental planners, biologists, archaeologists, paleontologists, air quality/greenhouse gas specialists, and noise/energy specialists to identify project requirements and develop solutions to meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations;
- Prepare and manage environmental documentation for a wide variety of projects;
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, prepare practical proposals, and actively develop new business with new and existing clients;
- Train and mentor staff on CEQA/NEPA and other planning/environmental requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the CEQA process and California environmental and regulatory setting.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- 5+ years of experience preparing CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, with 1+ years of experience managing projects.
- 8+ years of experience preparing CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, with 3+ years of experience managing projects.
Experience with CEQA, NEPA, CEQA-Plus compliance, Caltrans requirements, resource agency (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Regional Water Quality Control Board) permitting, and/or AICP certification is beneficial.
Our base full-time annual salary range is $70,000 – $110,000 for a Staff Environmental Planner and $90,000 – $170,000 for a Senior Environmental Planner. Starting salary is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications/permits, geographic location, internal equity and market conditions.
