We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer with 2–7 years of experience to join our award‑winning team. Employment type:

Full‑time.

Work schedule:

Hybrid — 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote.

Salary range: $97,760–126,880 (based on experience).

Career level:

Mid‑level.

Locations:
Long Beach, Irvine, San Diego (CA).

• Support both pre‑design and design engineering phases.
• In pre‑design: review existing as‑built drawings, conduct field investigations, set up multi‑discipline models, coordinate design schedules, perform feasibility studies, and prepare schematic designs.
• In design phase: perform energy modeling (Energy Pro or IES VE), develop single‑line diagrams and load schedules, design lighting systems and controls, and engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
• Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies to ensure safe and efficient electrical infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• EIT Certification preferred.
• LEED Accreditation is a plus.
• PE License is a plus.
• Membership in professional engineering associations is a plus.

• 2–7 years of engineering design experience post‑graduation or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with the California Building Code and the National Electrical Code.
• Experience with Net Zero Energy/Carbon design is a plus.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, Newforma, and engineering software tools.
