- Design HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial building projects
- Develop mechanical construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform load calculations and system sizing for HVAC equipment
- Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams
- Prepare engineering specifications and technical documentation
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals during construction
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with project managers and clients
MEP engineers design the building systems that provide heating, ventilation, water, and power to make buildings functional and efficient.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in MEP consulting engineering
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- EIT or PE license, or pursuing licensure
- Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design teams
- Experience working on commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, science/technology, or office projects
