The Site Sourcing Manager is responsible for the sourcing, procurement, quality, cost, logistics and delivery of material and services utilized by Solar’s facility operations in the US and Mexico and Solar’s Customer Services operations around the world. The objectives of the position are to:

• Ensure suppliers utilized perform to metric expectations and are synchronized with Solar’s Manufacturing operations and Customer Services demand.
• Serve as the industry expert for procurement while developing and executing a supplier sourcing strategy that supports Solar’s business growth and cost reduction targets while delivering year over year supplier performance improvements.

Lead and develop a team responsible for end-to-end order-to-delivery supply chain performance. This role drives supplier alignment with demand, ensures material availability, and delivers sourcing strategies that support growth, cost reduction, and continuous supplier performance improvement.

• Lead supplier value stream performance to ensure alignment with business demand and manufacturing needs
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support growth, cost, and year over year performance improvement
• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned commodity/value stream
• Partner with engineering and design teams to assess future material availability and design impacts
• Identify supplier performance gaps and implement improvement plans
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global supply chain team

• Strategic and tactical planning
• Supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing
• Supply chain risk, contingency, and recovery planning
• Contract management
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of combined experience in procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain management
• Proven experience leading teams and managing supplier performance

• Master’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of combined experience in procurement, manufacturing, or management
• Experience in turbine blades and/ or investment castings for industrial gas turbine or aerospace industries
• Professional certifications (CPM, CPIM, CIRM)
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
• Experience with ERP systems (BaaN 5C / ERP LN), Windchill, and Coupa
