We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Cost Estimator who is physically located in California to join our team in a remote role supporting one of the largest healthcare programs in the nation! You'll work on complex, meaningful projects from early design through construction, applying your mechanical estimating expertise alongside a collaborative team of cost estimator and construction management professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types.
- Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope.
- Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client's project and strategic goals.
- Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration.
- Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.
- Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information.
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Mechanical cost estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior mechanical trade experience required.
- Prior healthcare estimating experience required
- Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications).
- Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred.
