Wireless Software Test Engineer

The WTE team is looking for a highly qualified software test engineer to help ensure quality for any of the Wireless Technologies – like WiFi, Bluetooth, Thread, Zigbee – across all iOS, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and macOS platforms. • 3+ years of experience in WiFi/BT or Thread/Zigbee (802.15.4) Functional or Performance Testing
• Experience in developing test strategies and executing it with automation or manual testing
• Solid understanding of existing wireless communication protocols, such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
• Good understanding or WiFi/Bluetooth/Cellular Co Existence
• Support development in debugging and reproducing issues
• Can clearly communicate and driving multiple projects across many teams
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and comfortable working with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++. Previous automation experience required
• Experience in WiFi/BT IOT experience or Certification experience a plus
• In depth knowledge of analyzing over the Air data
• Knowledge using and understanding of lab equipment: signal analyzer, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, sniffer tools

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
