Solar Turbines is looking for an Intern to support the Structural Analysis of the Gas Turbines Package dedicated to the Power Generation market (power range: 4 to 35 MW). The candidate will be review the the structural design, the 3D modelling, the technical drawings and documentation of the Gas Turbine Package Mechanical Systems such as Enclosure, Filter Structure and package Base Frame.

This role coordinates with mechanical systems manufacturers and evaluate proposed solutions. The selected candidate will work in close collaboration with the auxiliary systems engineers and will interface with project engineers, sales support department and customer service.

Responsibilities:
* Validate Structural Mechanical design of the Gas Turbine Package mechanical systems;
* Develop 3D models of the Gas Turbine package mechanical systems;
* Perform and validate Structural Analysis of the structural components;
* Coordinate and support the mechanical systems manufacturers.
* Support Sales Department;
* Support Project Execution Department;
* Prepare technical documentation related to Mechanical Systems;

Requirements:
* Student of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent;
* Proven experience in Structural Analysis (FEM);
* Good understanding of Gas Turbine Package auxiliary systems such as gas fuel system, lube oil system, ventilation system and air filtration system;
* Attention to detail concerning component specifications;
* Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
* Fluent English – Czech, Italian, German and/or French of benefit;
* Good communication skills and capability to work in a team;
* Analytical skills and problem solving capability;
* Target oriented and strong sense of responsibility.
