Automation Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for the management of system infrastructure and applications. You will use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You'll work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. You will also strengthen your Dev Sec Ops  skills while supporting the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience with supporting DoD or government agencies
• 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving issues related to automation using Ansible or Power Shell
• Knowledge of Agile development
• Knowledge of automation tools, including Ansible, version control systems including Git, operating systems including RHEL and Windows, and virtualization including VMware
• Ability to develop tools and processes to drive Dev Sec Ops  maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
• Experience with application containerization
• Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML
• Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible
• Knowledge of networking principles and concepts
• Knowledge of API design and object-oriented principles
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
