We are currently seeking Corrosion Control Technician Under Instruction (U/I) (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM &E)) to support our customers in San Diego, CA.
RequiredEducation and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; and related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
Required CertificationAMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level
2).
Approximately five (5) years of experience in the corrosion control field supporting U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance. The candidate shall have experience with processes and requirements as they pertain to shipboard organizational level corrosion control maintenance of HM&E systems and ships structure. The candidate shall have experience with surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating system application tools and coating systems used on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
The candidate shall have experience with new corrosion control technologies and how they may be implemented on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

CompensationHourly range for this position is $32.97 - 49.45.
