Mid-Level ASW Weapons Analyst

Sigma Defense is seeking a Mid-Level ASW Weapons Analyst to support the U.S. Navy Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (SHAREM) at Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) in San Diego, CA.

• 10+ years of Navy experience relating to ship/submarine/aircraft operations and warfare tasks specifically including exercise weapons firings
• 3+ years of experience planning exercise activities on Navy training ranges
• 3+ years of experience analyzing the results of ASW weapons firings
• Capability for preparation of briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct
• Possession of excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate

• Observes and supports at-sea firings of weapons in naval exercises
• Extracts weapon firing data from all available sources
• Reconstructs weapon firing data to formulate accurate assessments of weapon performance, surface combatant, or air delivery attack proficiency, and surface combatant evasion tactics
• Communicates exercise results, orally and in written format, to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices
• Assists providing insight during ad hoc weapons meetings, workshops, and conferences

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually.
