Job SummaryThe Electrical Engineering Technician at Care Fusion 303, Inc. provides critical technical support to engineering teams in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of medical devices and systems. The role involves hands‑on work with electrical components and circuits, ensuring product quality and functionality.
Job Responsibilities- Assist electrical engineers in the design, prototyping, and testing of new and existing medical device hardware.
- Perform assembly, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical circuits, components, and systems.
- Conduct electrical tests, measurements, and inspections using laboratory equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
- Document test results, observations, and procedures accurately and thoroughly.
- Build and maintain test fixtures, prototypes, and engineering samples.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or failures in electrical systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical engineering, software, and manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the engineering lab.
- Adhere to all company quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma.
- 1‑3 years of experience in an electrical technician role, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
- Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, circuit theory, and electronic components.
- Proficiency in using common electrical test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with soldering, wiring, and basic assembly.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
Employment is contingent on the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID‑19. Remote or field‑based positions may have different workplace arrangements. SalaryHourly: $30.70 – $47.60 USD.
