Battelle has been providing research, development, test and evaluation services in support of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives defense for over 60 years. As part of our mission support, Battelle is working with the Capability Program Executive (CPE) Joint Project Lead (JPL) for CBRN integration. Our support will facilitate the advancement of the enterprise information management system to support nexgen CBRN threat warning and reporting, hazard prediction, and decision support capabilities for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of CBRN defense information.

We are looking for a Test Engineer to perform the following activities in conjunction with this mission space.

• With general direction, lead training coordination, fielding activities, and help desk support for CBRNE software training and fielding.
• May lead moderately complex training programs.
• Apply principles of engineering for specialized product, system, or software training and fielding.
• Develop and update training materials as necessary.
• Determine the best technically sound methods to ensure accurate training and fielding, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
• Manage all user accounts for training.
• Provide technical support during training and fielding exercises.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure compliance with DoD standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5 years of experience or master’s degree in related field with 2 years of experience or PhD; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field.
• DoD Secret security clearance.

The individual shall have over 20 years of experience in CBRN software training and fielding. They must lead training coordination, fielding activities, and help desk support. Responsibilities include developing and updating training materials, managing user accounts, and providing technical support during exercises. The individual must contribute to curriculum development and ensure compliance with DoD standards.
