Position SummaryJoin our team to shape the future of resilient and secure communications! We’re looking for skilled modem engineers to develop cutting‑edge modem software for 5G, LTE, Non‑Terrestrial Networks (NTN), Government Waveforms and Advanced RF Sensing. This role combines advanced embedded systems expertise with government security aspects—ideal for innovators ready to tackle next‑generation challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and debug real‑time embedded software for modem subsystems (L1/L2/RRC/MAC layers).
- Implement and optimize algorithms for various modulation schemes, channel estimation, and other signal processing.
- Work on RF calibration, DSP optimization, PHY layer algorithms, and framework bring‑up on new silicon platforms — while innovating to overcome contested and link‑constrained environments.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to ensure seamless integration of modem firmware.
- Support secure communication protocols.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and maintain high‑quality software documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in embedded systems and modem software development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and real‑time programming.
- Hands‑on experience with Qualcomm modem stacks (Denali/Kili or similar).
- Familiarity with 3
GPP standards for LTE/5G and NTN. - Knowledge of DSP concepts and signal analyzers/generators.
- Python scripting for automation and testing.
- Experience with Linux/Windows development environments and GIT.
- Understanding of secure coding practices.
Work on cutting‑edge modem technologies powering next‑generation secure communication systems for government and defense applications.
