Fuse seeks a technically savvy Project Manager with a “get it done” mindset to lead development, integration, and demonstration of advanced communications and networking technologies for DoD networks and tactical communications.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication, accountability, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and leadership.
• Engage real‑world operators to capture end‑user needs and requirements.
• Manage budget, schedule, and scope, adjusting dynamically as project needs evolve.
• Lead risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking.
• Establish and refine project‑management processes suitable for a high‑growth, agile startup.
• Support proposal development, planning, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Align system development environment and attributes with DoD security requirements.

Ideal candidates will have experience in technical leadership, project budgeting and scheduling, and familiarity with military aircraft and communication systems.

• 5–7 years of experience in technical or engineering environments, including 1–5 years of direct project‑management responsibility.
• Strong leadership presence and proven ability to motivate teams and deliver results.
• Technical foundation—degree ay engineering, systems management, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Adaptable to startup environments, comfortable building structure where needed.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Current U.S. SECRET clearance, or ability to obtain clearance.

• Former U.S. Air Force officer or similar experience with operational or acquisition programs.
• Familiarity with tactical data links (TDL), secure communications, and/or BLOS systems.
• Experience with DoD R&D process and lifecycle management.
• Comfort with Agile or hybrid project‑management methods in hardware/software development.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, or similar PM tools, and exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM).
