• Design wireless systems in iBwave and EDX
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages
• Coordinate with AHJ’s, Radio System Owners, and carriers
• Create or modify DIV 27 specifications
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing wireless telecommunications systems (LMR, public safety DAS, commercial DAS, etc.)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner, or a combination of modeling programs
• Experience working with clients to identify wireless communication needs
• Experience troubleshooting wireless communication system issues from field teams
• Knowledge of noise floor, SNIR, return loss, VSWR, NFPA 72/1221/1225, IFC 510, carrier KPIs, IBC, FCC part 20 and 90, FCC OET bulletin 65, MOTOTRBO systems, Motorola R56 installation standards, DMR Tier III, and Navisworks
• Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients
• Excellent project management skills, RFP response familiarity, budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation experience
• iBwave Level 2 Certification (required)

• Experience designing Wi‑Fi systems
• EDX or Motorola design certifications
• FCC GROL, NICET Design Certification, multiple OEM product certifications
• Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, EIT or PE degree
