Summary:
Qualcomm's Silicon Validation team, part of the Snapdragon SoC hardware development organization, is responsible for the overall quality of SoC silicon. The validation team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers to solve the toughest issues spanning board design, SoC RTL, microcontroller firmware, OS/software, and process variation. We are currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of SoC Debug Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the candidate will support three critical roles:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Pre-Si and Post-Silicon hardware bring-up, validation, and debug
- Working knowledge of modern CPU and SoC architectures
- Familiarity with assembly code, Verilog, C, and various scripting languages
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as JTAG-based debug probes, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of industry debug architectures such as ARM Core Sight
- Strong examples of continuous innovation and problem solving
- Hands-on experience with TCU, PVT, Fmax, Vmin test methodology
Educational Requirements:
Required:
Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred:
Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
