FPGA Hardware Engineer

See Scan is seeking an FPGA Hardware Engineer to join our team. This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego.

The salary range for our FPGA Hardware Engineer position is $135,000 to $185,000 annually.

This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

• Work as a member of the FPGA Hardware team on our imaging and/or DSP systems
• Advocate for and demonstrate the validity of your designs using analysis tools such as Python, Matlab, LTSpice, PSpice, etc.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test/manufacturing engineers to successfully bring a product from conception to market
• Circuit analysis
• Video, image sensors and imaging systems
• DSP hardware (Verilog) implementation
• Electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers
• Python
• LTSpice/PSpice/QSpice, COMSOL

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related
• Prior experience as an FPGA Hardware or FPGA Design Engineer

• Comfortable in a dynamic design environment with changing priorities and moving targets
• Effective and efficient troubleshooter
• Abstract “outside the box” thinker
• Independent learner and willing teacher
