** Field Service and Repair Technician

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*
* * Support all pre and post sales activities.
* Service and repair DC power supplies and electronic loads by troubleshooting to a module level.
* Install and commission new power systems at customers’ facility.
* Provide training to customers on the use of power supplies and electronic loads.
* Read electrical schematics.
* Provide excellent customer support.
* Write detailed service and field reports.
* Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex application issues.
* Support quality assurance functions to ensure a superior customer experience.
* Drive customer issues to resolution
* Provide feedback to factory regarding field failures and common application questions.
* Reproduce customer failures in the lab in order to report the information to factory engineers.
* Plan and record how-to and product demo videos.
* Manage customer expectations while working on resolving customer’s issue.
** Requirements:*
* * Proven experience as a power electronics repair technician or similar role.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to write detailed and accurate reports.
* Excellent organizational skills
* Familiarity with electronic theory, troubleshooting and reading schematics.
* Must be a self-starter, work independently, detail oriented, well organized and the ability to multitask with strong work ethics.
* Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
* Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen.
* Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
* Able to lift 50lbs and willingness to operate a hand-lift.
* Travel up to 50%
