General SummaryAre you interested in exploring how top of the line GPU's work? Qualcomm’s GPU PSE (Post‑Silicon Engineering) team is part of the Adreno GPU HW Development organization and is responsible for the overall quality of the Graphics IP in silicon. As a member of our GPU PSE team, you will work closely with GPU architects, designers, verification, and graphics software driver engineers to validate and productize the next generation graphics core for mobile devices.
The position includes improving post‑silicon validation coverage and test methodologies, creating GPU bring‑up test plans, and providing debug analysis, support, and solutions for silicon issues from the internal level to OEM level. We seek highly motivated and creative engineers who thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with minimal guidance. Candidates must have strong communication and teamwork skills and approach difficult challenges as learning opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Candidate will have previous experience working in emulation and silicon environments.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Experience in functional validation and debug of mixed‑signal IP.
- Experience in Post‑silicon enablement and bring‑up.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant GPU/Debug experience on emulation or silicon.
- Experience in functional validation.
- Experience utilizing emulation environments for development and debug.
- Debugging low‑level firmware, software.
- Familiarity with software driver interaction with GPU hardware.
- Test planning and methodologies to expose low‑level problems.
- Debug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggers.
- GPU and SoC architectures.
- GPU APIs (Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL).
- Experience programming in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
- Basic familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience in the Android and Windows HLOS environments.
- Understanding of the latest graphics trends in mobile and PC gaming.
