Overview
We are looking for fun, engaging, and experienced educators to help our students reach their fullest potential in their education. Our Math and Reading Instructors assist students in working through evidence-based intervention programs that will give them the tools to succeed in all areas of learning. Instructors also provide specialized academic support to build upon students strengths and bolster their weaknesses.
We match instructors with students based on competencies and develop learning plans. We provide paid internal training to ensure our instructors have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support our students. Instructors may also branch out to work with our other program offerings (such as Executive Functioning and Test Prep) if they want to expand their teaching experience.
- Work with students to implement evidence-based intervention programs in math and reading.
- Provide specialized academic support to leverage strengths and address weaknesses.
- Collaborate to develop personalized learning plans matched to student needs.
- Complete paid internal training to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence.
- optionally expand teaching experience by contributing to other program offerings (e.g., Executive Functioning, Test Prep).
- Experience working with students who have learning challenges (e.g., ADHD/ADD, Dyslexia, other Specific Learning Disabilities).
- Familiar with math and reading interventions.
- Open to training in our programs, particularly reading comprehension and math programs.
