MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Degrees must be from accredited institutions. Master’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology AND Master’s degree in Sociology, Biological Sciences, Forensic Sciences, Genetics, or Paleontology; OR, Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Anthropology or Archaeology; OR Master’s degree in any biological science; OR, Bachelor’s degree in any biological science AND a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or Marine Science;
OR, Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Biological Sciences; OR Master’s degree in Philosophy; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy AND Master’s degree in Humanities or Religious Studies; OR, Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Philosophy and Religion; OR Master’s degree in Geography; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Geography AND Master’s degree in Geology, History, Meteorology, or Oceanography;
OR, Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Geography; OR Master’s degree in Sociology; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Sociology AND a Master’s degree in Anthropology, any ethnic studies, Social Work, or Psychology; OR, Possession of a California Community College Instructor Credential (valid for life) in Sociology; OR The equivalent.
