Description:

The USD Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science invites applications for a full time Clinical Associate Professor (non‑tenure‑track). Candidate must have the ability to teach across nursing programs, including the Nurse Practitioner Program. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance, department needs, and funding. The successful candidate will have an earned doctoral degree in nursing, experience teaching in the clinical setting, simulation and online programs.

Job Requirements:

• Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) from an accredited school of nursing program.
• California RN license.
• Two years of teaching experience and primary and/or acute care clinical experience or practice, Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified (FNP-BC or FNP-C) is required.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
• Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

Salary and Benefits: $8,750–$9,166 per month;
