This position supports the (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Training Program for CENSECFOR, with locations primarily at Little Creek, VA (HQ) and Detachments in Chesapeake, VA;
San Diego, CA; and Pearl Harbor, HI. The services include course and curriculum development, training management and oversight, and instructional delivery. Training objectives align with Navy instructions and course scope as directed by the CENSECFOR Director of Training CENSECFOR COR.
The following position is required for this effort: AT Instructor, Chesapeake, Virginia.

Responsibilities- Maintain high personal standards of technical knowledge
- Demonstrate professional competence in delivering training material
- Perform effectively in a military environment with familiarity of the U.S. Navy organization and hierarchy
- Demonstrate knowledge of Navy/military terminology and shipboard/installation environments
- Maintain a self-starting approach with demonstrated technical experience
- Stay current on technologies, programmatic advancements, and the Navy Antiterrorism Program
- High personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training
- Ability to perform in a military environment
- Familiarity with the U.S. Navy organization and hierarchy
- Knowledge of Navy/military terminology and shipboard/installation environments
- Knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques and computer technology applications for instructional delivery
- Maintain personal standards at least equal to those of DoN personnel undergoing training
- Ability to instill morale and motivation to ensure a positive learning environment
- Attend Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) or equivalent, or have academic credentialing or instructor training via an academic institution
- Academic ITC requirements include: effective communication and questioning techniques; adult learning theory and principles; instructional delivery methods; training environment management; interpersonal skills; evaluation and feedback
- College MILT 5100 or equivalent
- Familiarity with Training Course Control Documents (TCCDs)
- Possess or be eligible to earn Course Unique Instructor Training (CUIT) certifications
- Antiterrorism Program Management experience, including 3+ years as Installation Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) or related roles
- Experience as Installation Security Officer or Assistant Installation Security Officer; or equivalent tour as Echelon 2 command AT/ force protection staff officer
- Experience with NCIS, Afloat Training Group; AT assessment or training teams
- Experience in Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO), preferably as a VBSS Boarding Officer
- Security clearance: A SECRET
