Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home and online tutoring company serving San Diego, California. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs for Kindergarten through 12th grade, hire certified teachers or those pursuing a degree in Education, and offer wages higher than the industry average.

Provide academic support aligned with the state curriculum, deliver supplemental assignments, and offer remedial and enrichment support. Communicate student progress with parents or guardians and tailor a customized approach to each student’s needs. We are seeking candidates across all subject areas.

We are looking for teachers, subject matter experts (Masters Students, PhD Students, Engineers, etc.) or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Valid California State teaching certificate or equivalent
• Current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
• Two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher
• Experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. university or college
• Master’s/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. university or college
