—guiding them through social‑emotional learning, homework help, enrichment activities, and new adventures every single day.

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of their school day.
• Organize and lead activities, including homework help, recreation games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
• Join in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create unique clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance.
• Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols, monitoring student behavior, and managing group dynamics.
• Oversee the safety and well‑being of students during after‑school activities.
• Encourage participation and enthusiasm while adapting activities to meet students’ diverse needs and interests.

• At least one year of experience in after‑school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Strong communication skills; able to talk comfortably with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ completed credit units, or completion of an academic proficiency exam.
• Valid negative TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English‑Spanish is a plus.

If the school requires a Covid‑19 vaccination, you must provide documentation that you are fully vaccinated.

• Monday to Friday (required)
• Afternoon shift 2 pm–6 pm; one day per week is a minimum day (approx. 12 pm–6 pm depending on the school).

The Program Leader position is part‑time, non‑exempt and reports to the Site Coordinator of the school site.
