SDSU Imperial Valley invites applications for a temporary, 1-year Visiting Faculty position for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The position is non-renewable and based in Calexico, CA.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree or terminal degree in the field (ABD may be considered depending on experience and training).
  • University teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated currency in subject matter.
  • Demonstrated ability or interest in working with underrepresented populations in higher education.
  • Expertise or experience in any of the following areas:
    • Forensic Psychology
    • Behavioral Neuroscience
    • Neuropsychology
    • Cognitive Neuroscience

Salary

As of July 2024, the classification salary range is $5,507 - $15,211 per month. Most Visiting Faculty employees are hired at the beginning of the range.
