The part-time Dermatologist provides comprehensive medical and procedural dermatologic care in an outpatient setting, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing skin, hair, and nail conditions.
Essential duties include evaluating patients, performing procedures (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy), managing conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers, conducting skin exams, prescribing medications, and educating patients.
The role involves coordinating care with healthcare teams, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications require an MD or DO, dermatology residency completion, board certification or eligibility, valid license, and experience with EMR systems.
Skills needed include strong clinical judgment, communication, cultural competence, and organizational abilities.
