RICK is looking for a creative and technical Associate Landscape Designer to join our Landscape Division in San Diego. This position offers the stability of 70+ years of industry leadership with a supportive, family-feel culture, a competitive benefits package, profit sharing, and a popular work schedule featuring 9-hour days Monday through Thursday with a half-day Friday, enabling you to start your weekend early each week.
Aboutthe Role
Our award-winning Landscape Architecture team collaborates on a diverse range of public and private sector projects, from community parks and urban streetscapes to large-scale master planned developments. We are seeking a candidate with a BA or BS in Landscape Architecture and 2 to 4 years of professional experience (or 6 years of equivalent work experience). In this role, you will work in a professional office environment, translating concepts into reality through the proficient production of landscape construction documents and high-quality graphic presentations.
Success requires a strong grasp of general design principles, a working knowledge of planting design, and the technical ability to execute.
You must be proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. To stand out, candidates who can elevate our visual storytelling using Sketch Up, Lumion, Adobe Illustrator, or similar rendering software are preferred. A clean driving record is required.
CompensationSalary range for this position is $71,760.00 to $76,960.00.
