- Base pay ranges from $17.25 to $21.00/hr, with an additional $5.00-$6.00/hr from tips and commissions

About the Position:
The Sales & Front Desk Associate plays a vital role by promoting memberships and delivering exceptional customer service.
This role requires:
- A passion for dogs and dog health & wellness, with willingness to work directly with dogs
- Sales experience and confidence, especially in membership sales
- Customer service experience (retail, restaurant)
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
Who We Are Looking For:
We seek a goal-oriented individual passionate about sales and customer service! An ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and a compassionate dog lover. We also look for someone eager to grow into a managerial role through our training programs.
Tasks:
- Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
- Achieve KPIs like average ticket price and rebook ratio via memberships, add-ons, and retail
- Generate and follow up on membership leads
- Answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles
- Manage customer expectations, resolve concerns, and retain memberships
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the reception area
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Abilities:
- Confidence in selling services and products
- Excellent interpersonal skills with both dogs and humans
- Ability to learn and educate about our services, aligning with our values and culture
- Effective communication skills (in person and over the phone)
- Problem-solving using Scenthound’s values as a guide
- Attention to detail
- Efficient time management and scheduling
