This position will support the Bond Program Accounting Supervisor in the successful execution and ongoing implementation of Measure HH bonds. This is a restricted position, which means it is funded for a specific period. The role is supported by a $3.5 billion bond with an anticipated duration of 10-15 years. While the position may be extended if funding is renewed, continuation is not guaranteed.
Hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs.
Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.
Desired Qualifications- Experience in construction, projects, and interpreting contracts and schedules.
- Highly proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables; and People Soft Accounting software experience is a plus.
- Experience in Bond Measures.
- Effective communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute, INC.
